Richard Linton – BSc (Phytotherapy), BEd, Dip. Nutrition

Herbalist, Nutritionist, Iridology, & Natural Health Consultant

Richard originally trained at the College of Phytotherapy in West Sussex before gaining his qualification at the University of East London. He then went on to train in nutrition and naturopathy as well as studying the use of essential oils and essences. Following his training it has been an important part of Richard’s work to continue to research treatments and techniques from both the past and within modern papers, to bring the best and most effective natural treatments to his patients. It is from this that he has developed Vitalbotanics using the insights of the past to deal with a modern problem, and this is being continually developed and utilised.

Alongside his practise, Richard makes natural remedies supplying other practitioners and their patients with a wide range of natural medication, specialising in home grown and wild crafted herbs from the UK. This gives a huge resource for his own patients.

As a qualified Herbalist, Richard is trained to diagnose and help patients with a wide range of conditions both chronic and acute. Richard can make herbal remedies tailored to the patient’s individual needs.

Nutrition can have a huge impact on our health both involving things we have too much of and too little. Richard’s approach is to return us to our natural diet that the body is designed for, but at the same time being realistic about people’s daily lives and particularly cutting through the confusing messages we are bombarded with.
